Minus World Visual Novel (fully titled "Minus World Visual Novel for Gimmick Garrison") is a fan-made visual novel about Super Mario. The game is a crossover with other franchises as well.
Premise[]
The story seems to revolve around the player taking the role of Mario (more accurately, the Lou Albano version of the character).
The following is the transcript from the beginning of the game:
"In this story, you take the role of Mario as he participates in an adventure beyond his understanding. Your choices will help lead Mario to triumph, or to ruin. Can you accept this responsibility?"
(NOTE: The game (at least the early versions) states "You choices".)
Apparently, Mr. Krabs from Spongebob SquarePants is the school counsellor in this game.
Gameplay[]
The fan game plays like a typical visual novel: the player advances through text and makes decisions at certain points, which lead to different outcomes. The player can rewind the story by using the scroll wheel.
